Formalize Informal Learning
Case Study
Majorium designed and created an informal learning portal for a financial services company. The portal provided its large sales team with access to both formal and informal training resources. These included access to the entire catalog of available on-line courseware, developed by Majorium and social learning and collaborative tools such as wiki’s, blogs, discussion groups, communities of practice and expert directories.
Sales people are able to take courses “on-demand” or access a comprehensive selection of sales tools and resources provided by the client. Each sales person is capable of creating a personal home page that can include favorite blogs and communities of practice, as well as an individual, personal transcript.
